The mending crew is the swap branch of upcycling and mending fabric and clothing. It’s vital community work that the swap needs to stay sustainable.
- If you’re interested in developing important fabric-related skills, such as using a sewing machine, making patches, embroidery, hand-sewing, cutting fabric, and potentially screen printing, or have skills to share on clothes maintenance, like de-fuzzing, steaming, and ironing, keep a lookout for new updates on this website or our Instagram @sjclothingswap.
- If you want to help organize mending crew, please email us at [email protected]. We hold virtual planning meetings every other Sunday, from 7 - 8 PM, on Signal.
